Alejandra Villarreal

I recently had the opportunity to obtain the same Spector Euro 5LX Alex ster signature bass used by Alejandra Villarreal of The Warning in videos for their original song "Martirio" (screenshot below) and their cover of "Enter Sandman" (from the Metallica Blacklist album)! I've been a huge fan and supporter of The Warning for over 6 years now ...

Readers Poll 2023: Paulina "Pau" Villarreal Vélez Wins "Up and Coming" Ale is featured as one of only three artists in Spector's photo scroll at the top of the 'Artists' page along with Ian Hill and Alex ster. Featured Artists Archive - Spector Bass They're a 3-piece band from Monterrey, Mexico, comprised of three teenage sisters, ages 13, 16 and 18. The bassist, Alejandra is the youngest member of the band. They broke the Internet several years ago with their cover of Metallica’s Enter Sandman (Alejandra was only 9 at the time and her short-scale Fender looked bigger than her!). Nice. I found Muse from some of my much younger gaming friends about the time Ale was born. I like them in doses. So great that The Warning opened for Muse in Mexico then got invited to Muse's UK/France tour. Ale and her sisters seem to be making an impact everywhere they go. Yup, I said it...

Happy 20th Birthday to Alejandra! The youngest, and tallest, of the three Villarreal-Velez sisters that make up The Warning. She wanted to play harp, but instead ended up playing bass and forming a band 11 years ago with her sisters. View attachment 7098827 I swear, the way she hits them drums, she could well be the 2nd coming of Bonham! hehe Thanks for the thoughts. fellas. My bass skills are still infantile, so not at the pick stage yet. I have a couple different variety packs and a few others that some friends have given me in addition to the Stubbies I bought because of Ale. I have to say the bass on the intro for Dust To Dust sounds great. What follows from all three is some musicianship that sounds beyond their young age. The rest of their music is not my cup of tea but this song is quite good. I read that Alejandra came up with the bass and most of this song when she was 13. No bad!

Very chill vibe. or Off to the Side or Sultans des Iles Polo & Pan I have Ani Kuni and Les Jolies Choses on my chill out playlist (along with Morcheba, Caravan Palace, Supreme Beings of Leisure, Montessori Cocktail, Ciao Matto, and a bunch of others)
