He worked countless hours on this game without much programming knowledge while he worked at a movie theater. Pretty sure Eric knows what is and isn't fictional. He coded Shane's attitude, he knows this is the kind of reaction such an attitude gets. Telling people to stop talking shit about a fictional character just because there's a real life inspriration is a little naive and grasping at straws.
